Weathered stone castles rising from rolling fields, tall grasses bending in the Atlantic wind, and landscapes layered with centuries of history. Ireland invites you to slow your pace, follow the land’s natural rhythm, and let the story emerge where history and horizon meet.

IRELAND

What we have

PLANNED

 7 ELOPEMENTS / 3 CASUAL SHOOTS / 10 SHOOTS / 5 COUPLES

You’ll document seven full elopement style stories alongside three slower, documentary led sessions, working with couples throughout the retreat. Each experience is designed to reflect a real Irish elopement—intentionally paced, shaped by the landscape, and guided by genuine movement and connection.

You’ll leave with a cohesive, honest body of work. Images that feel lived in and true to the place. Work that shows what it actually looks like to photograph couples in Ireland, and gives future clients a clear sense of the experience they’re stepping into when they choose you.

10 Fully Styled Shoots

This retreat is built around real experience in a landscape shaped by time, weather, and story. Ireland invites you to slow down and stay present, to move with the land, and to let atmosphere and emotion guide the work.
You’ll create imagery throughout Ireland’s rugged coastline, rolling green hills, winding roads, and quiet pockets of countryside. Each shoot is guided but unforced, leaving space for natural movement, honest connection, and narratives that unfold organically rather than feeling staged.
You’ll receive clear, practical direction during every shoot, with time to experiment, ask questions, and refine how you work in ever-changing conditions. We’ll focus on reading light through clouds, working with wind and weather, and creating images that feel soulful, grounded, and true to the place.
Lodging is thoughtfully chosen to encourage rest and connection, with shared time built in for conversation and reflection. The pace is steady and spacious, allowing you to remain present without feeling rushed.
You’ll leave with a cohesive, evocative body of work, a deeper understanding of how to photograph in moody coastal and countryside environments, and practical tools you can carry forward into future destination work with confidence.

SO, WHATS INCLUDED?

You won’t be stepping into this experience unprepared. Before we arrive, you’ll receive a detailed Ireland guide covering locations, logistics, timing, terrain, and practical considerations. You’ll have the context and confidence to focus on creating, instead of figuring things out on the fly.

You’ll be added to a private group chat with the other attendees ahead of the retreat. It’s a space to connect, ask questions, coordinate travel if needed, and arrive already feeling grounded and supported before we even step into the park.

You’ll walk away with complete galleries that feel lived in and believable. Work that reflects what photographing couples in Ireland actually looks like—not just highlights, but full narratives future clients can picture themselves inside. Each story is shaped by place, weather, and movement, creating imagery that feels honest and timeless.

This experience is intentionally kept small. No crowding. No rushing for a turn. Just space to slow down, observe, and create with purpose. You’ll photograph alongside a close group of artists who feel more like collaborators than competitors. The pace is steady, the environment supportive, and the focus stays on meaningful work while exploring Ireland together.

Community and Connection

IRELAND STAY | MAY 18–23rd 2026

We will start with a relaxed meet and greet, followed by an easy morning. Nothing rushed, nothing formal. Just enough structure to keep the focus on connection, creativity, and the experience itself.

Guidance is available throughout the retreat whenever you need it. During shoots or back at the house, there is space for questions, feedback, and open conversation around workflow, creative direction, and navigating destination work abroad.

The goal is clarity without pressure, support without overwhelm, and conversations that feel practical, honest, and useful long after you return home.
