I’m Amberlyn.
I design experiences that invite photographers out of autopilot and into a more connected way of creating. These gatherings are about being present with your work, giving yourself time to observe and grow within real environments that shape how you see.
Creating environments where photographers feel encouraged and free to grow is at the core of this work. These retreats are meant for those who value meaningful experiences, curiosity, and a pace that allows room enjoy the process.
No matter where you are in your journey, each gathering is thoughtfully shaped to help you leave with a deeper sense of clarity in your creative direction and momentum to continue moving forward.
My path into photography wasn’t defined by confidence or a clear plan. It began with curiosity and a quiet sense that there had to be more than what I was creating at the time. I felt disconnected from my work and knew that staying in what felt safe would only keep me from growing.
Choosing to move forward meant stepping into uncertainty. I followed curiosity from one shoot to the next, allowing the work to evolve naturally without forcing direction. Along the way, it became clear that photography was never just about the images themselves. It was about people and the experiences formed within those moments.
That realization slowly shifted everything. What started as documenting moments expanded into a desire to guide, teach, and create space for others to learn in the same way. Traveling and working in new environments only deepened that understanding and showed me how transformative shared creative experiences can be.
Today, photography has shaped not only my work but the way I lead and teach. Through retreats and workshops, I now create experiences that encourage photographers to trust themselves and build confidence in environments that inspire both creativity and connection.
